The Golf
JACKS POINT GOLF CLUB
With a backdrop of 2,300 vertical metres of the Remarkables mountain range and an outstanding lake panorama, Jack's Point Golf Course is one of the most visually spectacular in the world. Taking inspiration from its natural environment, the course weaves through native tussock grasslands, dramatic rock outcrops, steep bluffs and swathes of native bush, providing an unforgettable experience for those who play it.
KINLOCH GOLF CLUB
Located in the Taupo District on the northern shores of Lake Taupo - the largest lake in New Zealand. Kinloch is the first Jack Nicklaus designed course in the country. The front nine has the aura of a raw links, somehow blended seamlessly into age-old sheep-farming territory while the back nine offers panoramic views over the majestic Lake Taupo.
Cape kidnappers
Designed by legendary golf architect Tom Doak, the Cape Kidnappers par 71 golf course measures 7,147 yards (6,569 meters) and will challenge golfers of all skill levels. Completed in 2004, our spectacular New Zealand golf course has been hailed as one of the great modern marvels in golf. Built on a ridge-and-valley landscape and with stunning sea views, Cape Kidnappers Golf Course plays high above the ocean atop dramatic cliffs.
KAURI CLIFFS
Fifteen holes with ocean views looking out to the vast Pacific form part of a course that feels like a private members club, surrounded by lush green farmland on one side, and dramatic cliffs overlooking islets on the other. Your views take in the spectacular golden curves of beach found in this far north peninsular of New Zealand’s North Island as well as the islets that pepper the Pacific. The backdrop is rugged and spectacular, and will live long in the memory of those who play there.
Te Arai LINKS
Positioned alongside a pristine coastline, Te Arai Links is the latest world class golf destination to open in New Zealand. The Coore Crenshaw designed South Course uses the natural dunes, shaped by wind and time, to showcase the area’s extraordinary coastal beauty. Exposed sand, coupled with firm and fast fescue turf to create a course that appeals to golfers of all abilities. With sixteen ocean view golf holes and eight holes bordering directly on the ocean, without question, guests are treated to a photogenic and visually stunning golf course.
Tara Iti
For those fortunate enough to gain access a magical experience awaits. This extraordinary enclave is located 65 miles north of Auckland and represents New Zealand’s first ever American-style private golf club.
The Tom Doak layout has the uniqueness of Sand Hills or Friar’s Head, the links-like charm of Bandon Dunes and the seaside appeal of courses on the Monterey Peninsula. This is golf at peak fun level.
